Bio-fuels and hydrogen fuel cells increase fossil fuel consumption & windmills don’t shutdown power plants. I had to look up the definitions of prolix, précis, & hectoring! KBT definitely wasn’t written for sophisticated readers like you. It’s written in much the same way I would speak. I want KBT to be for people like me, average citizens with too much to do and not enough time to do it.
KBT is meant for people who aren’t deniers, who haven’t heard the other side of the story & don’t realize how they’re being manipulated & ripped-off. My biggest goal is to help people, by exposing the lies & telling the truth about environmental issues. I certainly didn’t mean to be condescending & I’m sorry you took it that way. I hope that, since you generally agree with the points in KBT, you will promote it as means to help turn the tide of fanatical environmentalism that is costing us all so much.
Thank again,
GeoffHumanitarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11002285693335429214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2370028332335605773.post-6315254600779680712011-09-15T23:26:09.617-06:002011-09-15T23:26:09.617-06:00Well, I finished. Prepare such précis for your original text, then publish that, and permanently delete the original.Brian Hnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2370028332335605773.post-41851939020326294192011-09-15T19:20:23.981-06:002011-09-15T19:20:23.981-06:00I've started reading KBT, but I can see I'...I've started reading KBT, but I can see I'm going to have a problem with it. You have a characteristic kind of contempt for the reader which I always find very hard to put up with. It appears that you do not think we readers are smart enough to understand what you write, so you repeat. And repeat. And re-iterate. Just getting through the "Table of Contents" text intro, it seems that every point is made in about 5 different ways.

And you know what? It gets boring. And you know what happens reading "boring"? Skimming, looking for new materials. You may think rephrasing and juggling contexts heightens the impact, but it's the reverse.
This is the real news from the front lines. Believe it. Do not write it off as a carp by an opponent of your POV. I am a 10-yr converted ex-liberal, a Denier of the purest water. In fact, I think your position is a bit on the wishy-washy side, if anything.

But I don't know how much of this condescending repetitious prose I can take. We'll see.Brian Hnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2370028332335605773.post-46925858579827050422011-08-21T04:12:56.593-06:002011-08-21T04:12:56.593-06:00According to Mr. Kneeland, "...all dollars co...According to Mr. Kneeland, "...all dollars come from the people. Where do [you] think Coca-Cola gets the money to pay its taxes, Exxon gets its money to pay the Exxon Valdez fines, Denny's gets the money to pay its Justice Department fines, or even Microsoft gets the money to defend itself? It all ultimately can come from only one place, and that's from individuals."

ED: When you buy a product, the price of that product has to cover ALL the costs to get that product to you.
=======================

"A politician cannot spend one dime on any spending project without first taking that dime from the person who earned it. So, when a politician votes for a spending bill he is saying that he believes the government should spend that particular dollar rather than the individual who worked for it." Electric power cannot be produced and stored for consumption later.

Therefore, wind power can only be counted on mostly when the wind is blowing at optimal speeds and only in locations where the prevailing winds are such that it makes economic sense to build these power plants and this may not be when and where the power is needed. Making it NOT suitable replacement in terms of continuous power generation and it only add Cost because you have to maintain it even if it's not producing power.Dreminismhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02097439286890923243noreply@blogger.com
